Pilates give great results for men also
Pilates is one of the fastest growoing fitness prototypes the world has ever seen. It provides conditioning, flexibility, strength and mind-body awareness. Unfortunately, the repertoire of Pilates movements, although well suited to dancers, not always worked well as for men unless they are made special modifications.
Men especially find an increased risk of low back pain with Pilates. Men are often very tight in the back and hamstring problems due to poor postural and demonstrate upper body kyphosis (rounding of shoulders). The above are only some guidelines for men performing the art of Pilates. The men can win everything, from which women can Pilates caution, but must be taken when dealing with some specific exercises that put pressure on the men's lower back.
